Magnet schools follow the NYCPS enrollment processes for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Middle School Choice. If your child is entering Grades 1-5, you can apply to PS 349 through our magnet program by emailing Ms. Glier at nglier@schools.nyc.gov for more information. Please follow the links listed below for NYCPS's Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Middle School application processes:
For students entering the alternative grades of 1-5 or 7-8, applications are available at the school. The Magnet School Application period typically begins in October and continues through February of the academic school year for placement the following September. Prospective families are encouraged to attend open houses, tours and events at the school before applying.
Notification will be made in the Spring. Students will receive notification by mail. Notification letters will outline specific instructions for families to accept placement.
